George Gilder: Forget Cloud Computing, Blockchain is the Future #Blokzincir #Blockchain
Recorded on August 28, 2018
Is blockchain the technology of the future? George Gilder, author of Life After Google, argues that bitcoin and blockchain technology is revolutionizing the Internet. He sits down with Peter Robinson to discuss technology, cloud computing, big data, and the growing role of blockchain in innovating new technologies.
Gilder argues that cloud computing, while it was the hot new technology ten years ago, has reached its limits as the physical limitations of big data storage centers maxes out. Improvements in parsing big data are incremental at this point, and it’s time for the next big technology to take its place. Gilder points to blockchain as the technology of the future, with its ability to prevent corruption and manipulation of transaction data and the infinite uses it could have in third world countries.
Gilder also discusses the history of technology, artificial intelligence, and the revolutionary bitcoin. He argues that artificial intelligence can never replace human intelligence and creativity and that in principle, it is impossible for machines to take over.

Original Sin: the fly in man's ointment. No balm concocted by man is the cure for the moral cancer of Original Sin.
Brilliant you cannot complain because the products you are consuming is free and they are not respondible for the quaility of the content nor the security of the users computers and smartphones regarding virus and other issues related to security because there is no price signaling its hard for Google to improve their search service instead they get quanitifiable data number of users per day

The Internet architecture to day is of an stocastic nature In the future is will become more determinictic
So a billionaire, Peter Thiel, bought into a blockchain technology?
A billionaire's wealth is obviously tied to the 'traditional' (currently 'fiat') currency system.
I wonder if his interest is in the blockchain technology as an I.T. tool or as a currency.
If it is the latter, he must believe that it will become as isgnificant as / more significant than the current popular one Bitcoin… or at least widely used enough for his dollar input to be meaningful as an Etherium currency output.
Assuming that Etherium, in principal, represents the same paradigm shift to traditional currecny that Bitcoin seems to, I find that very surprising and it makes me wonder what the movers and shakers of the world have planned for currencies of that nature.
Cloud computing is merely a means of storing and distributing data and applications. Blockchain is a merely a format of data storage, not the system the Blockchains are stored on. Blockchain is a way to store data that maintains a higher degree of security against possible corruption. It's why it's used in crypto currency. It prevents persons or groups of being dishonest with the data. Also, Blockchain has nothing to do with AI.
What's my point?
No offense to George Glider but he's lost touch with the technology he's commenting on, Blockchain, cloud computing, and AI. He doesn't understand it. Cloud computing and Blockchain data structures are two entirely different things that are not in conflict with each other. He presents a false dichotomy which I believe he's doing it out of ignorance. Look at how he jumps all over the map with different topics during the discussion which have nothing to so with the subject matter at hand or much to do with each other for that matter. The things he's saying about blockchain and security are true.
What's missing here, is that AI, can replace creativity from consciousness, once the mind is unable to connect to the universal source of all knowledge, by sealing off the pineal gland, and by frequency, use psycoenergetics and manipulation of perception, to bring a counterfeit to the creative consciousness. AI, is only logic in nature. Since man is both of logic and spirit, the spirit needs to be cut off to be replaced with AI, and then you have total control in a global martix, known as the mark of the beast system.
why do people still use "google" when DuckDuckGo is totally PRIVATE .. ZERO tracking and no SEARCH BLOCKING
I agree that AI won’t attain consciousness. Actually that may be the most dangerous attribute of AI. With consciousness comes empathy. When AI can advance in intelligence exponentially to a point it exceeds even what we can fathom it becomes unpredictable. Imagine a near infinite intelligence with no conscience.
Blockchain is a fairness engine
This is why I just laugh at people who call me insane and tell me my opinions aren't based on solid information or facts , when I say Rob Marcos has been helping me survive this unstable market. The most Reliable way to make gains in an unstable market – priceless
People became rich with Bitcoin when nobody knew about it,don't judge a book by it's cover=don't judge bitcoin by it's dividend yieldings' go deeper beyond the surface of reality, i just want to use this medium and thank Marcos for the sure profits i keep earning from his program..
HAL lives… I interact with him every time I forget my iCloud password.
This is absolutely enlightening and brilliant.
Google for free… not really. Google sells ads every time you search and use gmail. They then sell everything that they know about you do to anyone who is willing to pay. This blockchain hype is dead as it failed to deliver on everything it promised. Blockchain is a useful technology but it is not a replacement for the Internet, for databases, elections, money and pretty much anything else. It does not scale and does not work when paired with the physical world. Bitcoin works because it is self verifiable as it is only sums and transactions. Using blockchain to vote? It's not because you key is used that that key was used by you. Authenticating using blockain… wow! Now that is risky. Lose your private key and you have lost your identity forever (and your money if it is associated with that private key). Great!!!!
What about running blockchain nodes on the cloud?

GREAT discussion!
Incredible, Thank you Mr Gilder.
No matter what we do, we must learn to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly.
1) Thank you George for pointing out the Emperor has no clothes on 2) Charlie Rose table ? Slippery slope 🤣🤣Mr Robinson
one of the most intelligent interviews on YouTube.
Mr. Gilder there is nothing Free, people just don't see value in the price they are are paying, Information is commodity it has value because it is power can be a friend for some or not so friendly for those who have been targeted they know well what i am talking about, those who's insurance claims never gets resolved, those who are being followed electronically those who cross red light all the time and never see the yellow light , there every contract , contacts / relationship are interfered, disrupted adjusted kept or discarded as self driving cars develop, just make sure you you can pull the plug when your car stops in the middle of a railroad track with your doors locked , all 15 second of the impact, Mr. Gilder there will be a toll bill, FREEDOM , it is this element that will burn it all at the end and send's us back to stone age, If we don't see the light when it is burning our eyes.
Ha was wrong about Bitcoin being private though. You can see every transaction that happens on the blockchain explorer. For privacy you need something like Monero.
Wow! Just wow!
I think the pandemic has taught people a big lesson, having one stream of income is not really a good idea cause your job doesn't secure your financial needs. The pandemic has really set out business-minded people from the rest that is why I'm so lucky to be among the investors trading with metro__kelvinfx on insta as his student it's been success and happiness since the beginning of my trades
